Bucaramanga’s first and friendliest hostel is located in Cabecera, the upmarket part of town.
Most of the best cafes, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are within a 10 min walk.
Parque San Pio
Explore the “La Ciudad de los Parques” or “City of Parks” on foot. You are never far away from a nice spot to chill out, kick back reading a book or simply relax with a beer watching the world go by.
You will notice we have two markers on the map. This is because there is something wrong with Google Earth, or perhaps just the Earth. We are actually in the middle of those two points – but who knows, we might have two places one day. You can see a little picture of a bed. That is us.
Getting to Hostel Kasa Guane?
The airport is located 40 minutes in taxi from the hostel and the bus terminal is 15 minutes in taxi.
From the Bus Terminal
A taxi should take around 15 mins and cost approximately $8,000 COP.
OR
1. Take a bus marked Cra 33 Cabecera $1,700 COP.
2. Get off on the corner of carrera 33 with calle 49.
3. Walk down calle 49, on your left hand side are tennis courts, keep walking two blocks until you see the hostel on your right opposite PanPaYa bread and coffee shop (with great pizza slices if you need some comfort food).
From Palo Negro Airport
Take a normal taxi which will cost approximately $33,000 COP.
OR
Take a shared taxi by going to the ticket booth located by the exit of baggage recovery. The cost is approximately $12,000 COP.
