Kasa Guane Hostel

“Came for a night…stayed for a week!” – One of the best hostels in Colombia. Had an absolute blast when I was here. Really friendly staff, very knowledgeable and always helpful. Meticulously clean, the hostel’s got great communal areas. Very easy to find stuff to do in the city so it’s probably a good idea to allow yourself a few days extra to really enjoy it. Top marks, keep up the good work guys.

“Great Place, Great Hosts “ – Stayed there for a week and found the hosts to be excellent — helpful, knowledgable of the city and made everyone fill completely at home. Wifi had a powerful signal (a different server on each floor). Good cable selections. Great parties on the weekends, for those who want to go (there up on the top floor). Place is keep clean and running smoothly – nice vibe.  This is the only time – after years of hostelling – that I’ve felt compelling to comment on a place.

“Perfect” – Kasa Guane is the best place to stay in Bucaramanga! Very friendly people at the recepcion that like the show you around. The owners of the hostel ( Tim en Milo from Groot Britannia) are also very friendly. There is always something going on at the bar upstairs. You can also meet a lot of local people ( most students) in the bar! At walking distance from the beautifull parks and party area at night. I stayed here 3 months! Great!

“Perfect location and great atmosphere” – The wonderful English and Spanish-speaking staff were so kind and helpful in organizing activities in Bucaramanga including paragliding, salsa dancing, and social outings. The hostel was clean, modern, and spacious with comfortable beds. It had a laid-back atmosphere during the day and an on-site bar to party and meet people at night. I fell in love with the city and it´s people thanks to staying at Kasa Guane – so much more than a place to sleep. Highest recommendation!

“What a hostel should be” – Hostal Kasa Guane is everything a hostel should be. It has nice clean rooms, big hot showers, a great rooftop bar and common area, friendly helpful staff, located in a awesome area of the city, all for a great price. There was always plenty to do and lots of other travelers around to have a good time with.

“Loved it here” – Kasa Guane is, thus far, the best hostel I’ve stayed in throughout my travels in South America (with roughly 30 others to compare with). The owners are incredibly helpful, friendly, and interesting. The rest of the staff is nice, but not all speak English (or my basic Spanish tricked them into thinking they didn’t need to). Overall, incredible value for the price, and I would definitely stay again.
